Taking My Time the new CD from Dee Adams & The Roadtrippers (Dee Adams-vocals/guitar, Maggie Perrotta-guitars, Mike Krejewski-drums and James Murphy-bass/harmonica) follows in the footsteps of Sheryl Crow, Amiee Mann and Bonnie Raitt as strong woman singer songwriters and performers. Adams earthy vocals and country/folk-rock sound are comfortable in a familiar way. “Taking My Time” features some nice harp playing from Murphy over a country blues pace. “Two Birds”, “Paper Sky” and “Good Woman” also merit mention.
