This is a GREAT date movie. If you haven't seen this endearing romantic
comedy, you need to see it soon. The plot sounds a little like it came
from The X-Files, which is apt considering it stars David Duchovney as
the newly-widowed husband who unknowingly falls in love with the woman
who has received his dead wife's heart. No, I didn't make this up, but
it is much, much better than it sounds from the story.
Minnie Driver plays the heart transplant girl who falls in love with the
perfect guy (Duchovney) only to discover the grisly truth about her new
heart. Bonnie Hunt directed this movie and again plays in a wonderfully
funny supporting best-friend role.
I won't give away any more of the story than this - I'll just say that
there were some very funny and heartwarming bits in this lovely, little
romantic comedy. If you're in the mood for something light, with some actual
substance underneath it all, check this out. |
