RuPaul as a sexual deprogrammer in a movie also featuring Mink Stole and
Cathy Moriarty? We're in a for a "un" run-of-the mill movie to be sure.
Our heroine is sent to a school, "True Directions," to be reprogrammed.
The motto of the school is "Straight is Great." Her first two lessons involve
1) admitting you're a homosexual and 2) rediscovering your gender identity.
The later involves wearing pink if you're a girl and blue if you're a boy
and RuPaul is dressed in blue and is well - what can I say about this movie?
If you're in the mood, you'll love it. It's camp and silly, and has the
occasional good comment to make about sex and sexual identity without beating
us on the head. |
